A BI-PLANE adventure over the Columbia River Gorge!
A BI-PLANE ADVENTURE OVER THE COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE!
Your Oregon adventure aboard a historic Bi-Plane treats you to an unparalleled view of the infamous Columbia River Gorge, Crown Point, and Multnomah Falls.
GETTING READY
You arrive at the Troutdale Oregon Airport off I-84. Jim Grant, with 27 years of experience under his belt, is there to meet you. He is about to take you on a journey that you will not soon forget. You are about to fly high over the Gorge!
Even driving on the Historic Old Highway 30 through the gorge, you witness one of the greatest scenic spectacles in America, but you just don’t get a feel for the expanse, the majesty of the Columbia River, and the prodigious peaks of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams that you do when flying overhead in Jim’s Bi-Plane.
UP, UP AND AWAY!
Imagine the thrilling anticipation as you taxi for takeoff. Open-air, goggles on, and then you are off, the wind quickly taking over your hairstyle for the day, goggles now pressed firmly to your eye sockets. You climb, level off and it is as if you are floating. You see it all in amazement as the anxious tingling of takeoff subsides and you can take a breath realizing the new world you have stepped into, or should I say, flew into. Sit back and enjoy.
THE EXPERIENCES
Just listen to what his ‘flying companions’ are saying: * “A phenomenal outing. My dad and I had an hour-long flight with Jim up the gorge. The views were beautiful and Jim is an extremely kind and knowledgeable guide. We loved circling around the dam, waving at hikers, seeing waterfalls from up above, and Crown Point. * “Wife and I just took a flight with Jim. had a fantastic time. great ride for the money. Got to see parts of the area I had no idea existed. Thank you, Jim”. *
“Jim “The Biplane Pilot” gave my friend and me an excellent experience! He started off by explaining all about his vintage 1929 Travelair Biplane and his flying history. We went up on an incredible ride in perfect summer weather and were able to experience real flying in the open-air cockpit!”
